With the help of Nexon, the South Korean Dota 2 community was able to increase in both size and skill level. The creation of the NSL, the Nexon Sponsorship League, ushered in the competitive side of Dota 2 with the first national league. Now the first season comes to a close and two teams are left to decide who will be the first South Korean champion.

This Saturday, fOu and StarTale will face each other in an epic battle to decide who will be crowned champions of the Nexon Sponsorship League. Besides winning a sponsorship package worth 100 million Korean Won, which amounts to approximately $94,000, the new Korean champions will also receive a spot at the finals event of the RaidCall EMS One Fall 2013 season.

The Korean teams are currently testing their skills versus American and European teams in the Nexon Invitational Super Match. This will provide practice as they get ready to face off against some of the world's best teams at the RaidCall EMS One Fall 2013 Finals.
